From time to time people send me a picture or two of dogs we've featured here, or I see new stories about them pop up in my Facebook newsfeed. I thought it would be nice to share them today as we wind down the week with Feel-Good Friday.
You remember Waldo of course. Clare shares with us that Waldo managed to find the one part of the dog park that was submerged under swampy water and jump in it! Way to go Waldo. Readers, how would you like to know you had to give Waldo a bath? Also, yes-that is a bib he's wearing. (Note: not the thing on his back. That's a young girl. The thing around his neck is a bib.)
We also had Katie give us an update on Eli and Lyle, while sharing another picture of her sweet Floyd. She also sent a picture of Rusty, her sister's Bichon.
Rosco has been on this blog a number of times. Yes, I am friends with his parents, but the truth is he is way too cute and photogenic not to feature all the time anyway. And he is such a perfect rescue success story too, turning his "non dog-people" into crazy dog lovers. Anyway, he has been encountering some new friends, most of which gave him a bit of a scare.
Well, it's been a great week of reminiscing and catching up. We can only handle so many graduation parties and picnics before we tucker out, and that's what happened to Isis. Look how big she's getting, by the way!
So, with the conclusion of this week that means we are back to the usual format next week. And that means I need two things from you: pictures of your pets with something in their mouths, and your own personal animal rescue stories. Please take the time to get those together and send them to me at pabibliophile@gmail.com or through any of the social media sites listed below. Thanks! I leave you with Wiley singing the Rescue Dog Blog Alma Mater. It's sure to bring a tear to your eye.
