Rosco

     Newlyweds Katie and Matt had never owned a dog before.  They started their search at the Hillside SPCA this past summer, "just to look around." That's where they met Rosco! The first day they brought him home he was already smiling.

      Katie says, "he is the best possible first dog we could have ever asked for."  Maybe that's because he fits their active lifestyle perfectly. He loves to go camping and on long walks with them, and he enjoys riding the golf-cart at the campground.  He's also quite good with kids; just don't ask him to babysit, since apparently he falls asleep on the job.

 

     Rosco has lots of toys (which he rips to shreds) and, like many big dogs, thinks he's a lapdog.  Katie and Matt took a chance on Rosco and now they know what kind of prizes are tucked away inside dog shelters.  On rescue dogs, Katie offers this insight: "I think people get nervous about rescues because of not knowing the full story behind the dog, but I know that in our experience, we knew instantly that he would be the perfect fit for us. "  

     Rosco is a part of the family and he is one lucky guy.   His future is so bright, he has to wear shades. HAHAHA  See what I did there?
