Jasmine, Kit Cat, and Little Cat

Today's furmily comes from Tyler's house. None of his pets are shelter pets, and yet they are all rescues. There are, unfortunately, way too many animals out there looking for homes. The first rescue pet his family got was Jasmine.  When she was 2 years old her owner decided due to her pregnancy she didn't have time to take care of Jasmine anymore. Rather than see her go to a shelter, Tyler's family took her in. She is now 11 years old.
Look at Jasmine's festive bathing suit!

Next is Kit Cat. She came from a friend's litter of outdoor kittens that didn't have anywhere to go.  She is now about one year old.

Kit Cat is pretending to be a Halloween decoration.

Lastly, this is Little Cat.  Some sick person dropped Little Cat and her siblings off in a box on the side of the road. Now, though, she is obviously very well cared for and loved.

In his submission, Tyler reminded me of a very important message I should be getting out there. Spay or neuter your pet!  Many local vets offer discounts and promotions to make sure we can eliminate any unwanted litters. Thank you so much for pointing that out Tyler!
Can you find Kit Cat?

Tyler, his sister Kelsey, and the rest of his family have opened their door for these sweet animals, and clearly they are all better off for it. Rescues happen in a lot of different ways, and we want to hear about all of them. Share your story please.
